Jane McQuillin

Jane has thirty years experience in the helping professions. She has worked with people with mental health problems, with people with a learning disability and as a Family Therapist.

Jane has been in private practice since 1989. While Transactional Analysis is Jane's main framework, her way of working reflects her varied experience and training, and demonstrates a person-centred base. She has regular supervision of her work and is committed to continued professional development and personal growth.

She works to explicit codes of ethics and practice, including a life-long confidentiality contract with her clients.

Jane is married, with three grown-up children and two grand-children. She and her husband have chosen to live in the Lake District since 1976.

Chris Davidson

Chris Davidson is a freelance Trainer and Consultant, working in a partnership. He takes on a range of commissioned work, mainly in public sector organisations.
His background was originally in social work and he has been involved in training and development for the last eleven years.

Chris started his TA training in 1993 and gained his CTA (O) in July 2001 in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2000. He gained his PTSTA (O) on July 2001 in Sydney, Australia.
Chris is immediate past chair of ITA.

Jim Davis

Jim is co-director of north west training, a TA psychotherapy training programme in manchester- he has trained in gestalt, person-centered and bodywork in addition to transactional analysis, and is also a Relate trained couples therapist - his background includes social work, research and equal opportunity promotion - jim works as a visiting trainer in a variety of organisations



Enid Welford

Enid has 20 years experience working in the mental health services, and enjoys using TA to make sense of what is described as pathology. She has worked for ten years as a Psychotherapist with Mentally Disordered Offenders. Enid also worked in private practice for 8 years, and has a special interest in working with spiritual problems.

For the last two years Enid has been involved in the training at the Lakeland Institute where she is the Associate Trainer. She has enjoyed the vibrant multicultural environment of South Manchester for many years, is enthusiastic about cooking food from other cultures, and likes to eat it!. She spends a lot of time international folk dancing. She also collects folk tales, and uses story in workshops and therapy.
