The programme runs for four years comprising ten, two-day training events a year. Successful completion leads to accreditation as a Clinical Transactional Analyst (CTA) through examination by EATA.This professional qualification automatically offers registration with UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). The two theory years and two skills training years run as a rolling programme, supplemented by advanced clinical seminars and supervision for more experienced trainees.
People attending will normally have completed a TA 101. Next 101 is Saturday 19th - Sunday 20th November 2011.

Written assignments are an integral part of the training.Jane, and her associate trainer, Enid Welford, deliver most of the training, in conjunction with other trainers.

Venue: The Lakeland Institute, Ulverston, Cumbria
First Year Training 2010 will have two components:
i) Ten weekends comprising: Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. plus first three Sundays 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. followed by seven Sundays 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Cost: £1110, or £1010 if paid in full at the first training weekend.
(ii) Optional days available to all trainees, on syllabus-based topics. This programme is published on the Events page.
Trainees can choose how long they take to accrue the 240 hours training necessary to qualify for the Certificate in Transactional Analysis (CTA) issued by The Lakeland Institute.
